what to pack in hand luggage?

hiya so im travelling to africa soon and im a teen girl im wondering if someone could give me suggestions on what to pack so far i’ve got:
ipod
magazines
2 books
my laptop
and snacks
also i wanna get a handbag and a purse am i allowed a purse as well?

what you have sounds really good, maybe even a book too or some puzzle/crossword things if your into them. I’m 17 and i just flew to italy for 2 weeks and a lot of airlines have in-flight entertainment now (especially if it’s international) which is really good, like i flew to london on british airwys for a connecting flight (both ways) and i watched black swan, harry potter and the deathly hallows part 1, big bang theory and the social network (they were all free). And just don’t over pack, chances are you’ll probably be tired and you might just sleep, and when i go on flights i usually don’t end up using half the stuff i packed.

girls are allowed a carry-on (it has to fit the airline specified measurements) and a purse
